Hot Tip! Help facilitate access to your own innate resources... |

There are many reasons why people choose to see a counsellor. Counselling may be helpful if you are feeling anxious, unhappy, or unfulfilled. Family or friends can be supportive, but you may feel uncomfortable or too embarrassed to talk to them. Sometimes its hard work trying to deal with painful feelings on your own. Often we get stuck with important issues that can remain unresolved. We can find ourselves repeating behaviours that make us unhappy, and wonder “why do I keep doing this?” Counselling provides a safe place to learn more about yourself. People often make progress when they understand themselves better. The therapeutic relationship that develops with your counsellor assists in this process. It also provides the opportunity for you to talk to someone who will be supportive and non-judgemental. c4w offers generalist counselling and psychotherapy in all the
main areas: anxiety, trauma, relationships,
couples counselling, depression, life potential, grief and loss. |
The counselling service aims to provide an initial consultation within 48 hours and has a sliding fee scale commensurate with income. David Cronin and Sue Hearn are both available for consultation, assessment or referral regarding specific concerns you may have about your health and well-being. If you require further information, David or Sue can be contacted via the c4w reception. |

All
counselling consultations are confidential and the counsellors being
professional members of the Counsellor and Psychotherapists Association
of Victoria (C.A.P.A.V) work in accordance with their ethical guidelines.
They also have many years experience in practice and post-graduate
training in their field.
